"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I've been drawing since before I can really remember, (my Mom kept scribble stuff, as proof) I really do it as a hobby (and hope they turn out half way good) All my earlier work was always done with a plain No. 2 (yellow) pencil. Years down the road, many years, I started using 'drawing pencils, what a Big difference. 'All drawings are Free-Handed'
Photography is my second hobby. Most all pictures are taken with, what I call, a 'cheap' phone camera. Veiwing all other photos on THIS site, really encourages me !
